Flywheel’s zine library holds over 3000 zines of all subjects and sizes. Our collection grew out of several personal zine collections that have been donated over the years. In addition, dozens of contemporary zinesters have continued to donate their new works. Western Mass is heavily represented in the collection, but we have dozens of zines from all over the United States and the world. Feel free to read them in-between sets or during events! If you are interested in looking at the collection for research get in touch and we can set up an appointment.

The zine library is curated by a group of dedicated volunteer librarians that meet every other week for a potluck dinner and library organizing.

Currently, the zines are not available for borrowing, but the Flywheel Zine Committee is hard at work cataloging every zine in order for patrons to borrow them in the future!

We are currently not accepting zine donations while we are in hibernation, but if you have a zine you’d like to donate, please send us an email at zinelibrary AT flywheelarts DOT org.
